The legal profession in India is undergoing a significant transformation, driven by globalization, technological disruption, evolving client expectations, and the increasing complexity of regulatory frameworks.
While legal education has traditionally focused on doctrinal learning, there exists a critical need to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world legal practice, particularly within the law firm ecosystem.
This FDP provides law faculty, researchers, and academicians with deep insights into the functioning of modern law firms in India, equipping them to align classroom teaching with industry expectations.
Objectives of Event
· Understand the structure and evolution of the Indian legal services industry
· Learn law firm hierarchy, roles, and career progression
· Gain knowledge of key practice areas and emerging legal fields
· Explore business aspects of legal practice (billing, clients, profitability)
