Overview

Sharda School of Nursing Science & Research, Sharda University is offering Value added course for B.Sc. Nursing students on “Cognitive Behaviour Therapy”.  This course is designed to provide participants with a foundational understanding of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), a widely used and evidence-based psychological intervention. Through interactive sessions, participants will learn the principles, techniques, and practical applications of CBT for managing stress, anxiety, depression, and other behavioural challenges. The program aims to enhance participants’ mental health awareness, develop problem-solving skills, and equip them with tools to foster positive behavioural change in themselves and others.

Objectives of Event

  1. To provide participants with a basic understanding of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and its principles.
  2. To develop skills in identifying and challenging negative thought patterns.
  3. To teach practical CBT techniques for managing stress, anxiety, depression, and behavioural issues.
  4. To enhance participants’ self-awareness and emotional regulation abilities.
  5. To equip participants with tools to promote positive behavioural and cognitive changes in themselves and others.
  6. To encourage application of CBT strategies in daily life, academics, and professional settings.
