Overview

Sharda School of Law, Sharda University, is organising a distinguished lecture on “Dishonour of Cheque: Draft, File, Win – Your First Pay Cheque Case”. The session will be delivered by Adv. Himanshu Jain (Supreme Court of India and Delhi High Court) Panel Counsel for Directorate of Enforcement and Founding member of Lex Focus Legit LLP and Himanshu Jain and Associates. The guest lecture would help in gaining an unbeatable edge in placements with top banks and law firms. It is the most frequently assigned task to junior associates in any lawyer’s office or law firm, and the lecture would help them in getting practical insights regarding the law.

Objectives of Event

• To impart knowledge regarding the practical aspects of law.
• To outline the functionality of cases related to Negotiable Instruments.
• To provide the required guidance to the final year students with regard to NI Act, 1881.

Expected Outcomes:

After the guest lecture the students will be able to:

• Understand the concept and acquire practical knowledge of Negotiable Instrument cases.
• Understand the drafting of NI cases.
• Identify the practical aspects which cannot be ignored while dealing with Negotiable Instrument cases.
• Practical learning on the various legal issues.
