Overview

Dear All,

Sharda University is organizing a 7-day hands-on workshop on Drones and Robotics Training (DART) in March 2026. The workshop is designed to give students a practical, interdisciplinary learning experience, combining mechanical, electronics, computer science.

With participation expected from 60–100 students, the workshop will provide focused training on drones and robotics, covering sensor deployment, data acquisition, microcontroller integration, prototyping, and real-world demonstrations. Students will interact with experienced mentors and trainers, work on take-home robotics kits, and compete in a final-day showcase of finished prototypes/models.

Prizes and certificates will be awarded to the best-performing teams, making this an exciting opportunity to gain future-ready skills while working in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment.

Objectives of Event

The objective of this workshop is to provide participants with practical exposure to drones and robotics technologies, bridging theory and practice. The training emphasizes:

·        Deployment of sensors, actuators, and data acquisition systems.

·        Integration of hardware using Arduino and microcontrollers.

·        Hands-on prototyping with breadboards and robotics kits.

·        Programming, motion control, and AI applications in robotics.

·        Live test flight demonstrations and real-time problem-solving.

·        Hands-on experience of drones and flying.

Through this workshop, students will develop industry-relevant skills in automation, robotics, and drone technology, preparing them for applications across manufacturing, healthcare, agriculture, and research. It aims to empower participants with the knowledge and confidence to innovate, design, and build in the rapidly evolving field of robotics.
