Overview
As per the directions received from the Hon’ble Governor/Chancellor through Raj Bhavan, Uttar Pradesh, Sharda University has been entrusted with the responsibility of organizing the West Bengal Foundation Day Celebration 2026 on 20 June 2026 at the University campus.
In compliance with these directions, the Office of the Dean Students’ Welfare is pleased to organize the West Bengal Foundation Day Celebration 2026 at Sharda University, Greater Noida, with the objective of celebrating the rich cultural heritage, traditions, art, and historical legacy of the State of West Bengal.
Objectives of Event
- To commemorate and celebrate the rich cultural heritage and historical legacy of the State of West Bengal.
- To showcase the diverse traditions, art forms, cuisine, music, dance, and literature of West Bengal.
- To create awareness among students and faculty about the significant contributions of West Bengal to India's social, cultural, and intellectual development.
- To promote appreciation and understanding of the state's unique identity and values.
- To encourage cultural exchange and strengthen the spirit of unity in diversity among the university community.
