Overview

Alumni Cell in association with Sharda School of Computing Science and Engineering (SSCSE) is organizing an Alumni Guest lecture on 27^th March 2026. The key speaker for this guest lecture is Mr. Sagar Kumar, a distinguished alumnus of Sharda University from the B.Tech. CSE (Class of 2021). Mr. Sagar is presently working as a Software Development Engineer (SWE) at Google, where he contributes to the development of scalable and innovative technological solutions.

The lecture aims to provide students with valuable insights into the rapidly evolving field of computer science and software development. Mr. Sagar will share his professional journey and insights to studets on how to stand out in a highly competitive market.

He will also discuss industry expectations, emerging trends, and career opportunities in software engineering as well as the skills, knowledge, and experiences required to succeed in the technology industry particularly in leading global organizations.

This session is expected to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practices, offering students practical exposure to real-world challenges and solutions. It will also serve as an interactive platform for knowledge exchange, enabling students to engage with an accomplished alumnus and gain clarity on skill development and career pathways in the field of computer science.
