Overview
The Office of Dean Students’ Welfare is proud to host a combined Welcome & Farewell Ceremony to celebrate the journey of the outgoing Student Council 2024–25 and to warmly welcome the newly elected Student Council 2025–26.
This special occasion is an opportunity to honor the dedication, leadership, and accomplishments of the outgoing council members who have tirelessly contributed to student welfare and campus engagement over the past year. At the same time, we will formally introduce and welcome the coming year student council members who are ready to take on the mantle of student leadership with fresh energy and commitment.
The event will feature addresses by university dignitaries, recognition of contributions, certificate and badge distribution.
Objectives of Event
To appreciate and recognize the commendable work done by the outgoing Student Council 2024–25.
To officially welcome the newly elected Student Council 2025–26 and present them with their roles and responsibilities.
To foster continuity in leadership and encourage peer learning between outgoing and incoming members.
To inspire students by highlighting the importance of student governance and active participation in university life.
To celebrate the spirit of teamwork, leadership, and community engagement.
