Overview
Sharda School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SSHSS) is proud to present a seven-day celebration of “Yoga Saptaah” by planning a number of in-campus and outdoor activities between 16th June to 21st June, 2025. Yoga Saptaah aims to engage all sections of society, fostering physical vitality, emotional resilience, and social harmony. Through the ancient discipline of yoga, the event aspires to cultivate a deeper sense of unity, health, and mindfulness, emphasizing the timeless relevance of Yoga practices in today’s world.
As the world gears up for International Yoga Day (IDY) 2025, the theme “Yoga for One Earth One Health” takes center stage and a wide range of activities revolving around it is being held. It builds on a decade of success since the United Nations recognized June 21 as International Day of Yoga, following India’s proposal in 2014.
This year IDY activities will revolve around 10 unique signature events to mark the 11th edition of the global event, which makes it the most expansive and inclusive.
