Overview

Sharda University, ICC collaborates with UGC initiated program: Observance of the "16 Days of Activism for Ending Gender-Based Violence" from 25 Nov. to 10 Dec 2025. The time period from 25th November (International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women) to 10th December (Human Rights Day) is observed throughout the world as 16 days of Activism for ending Gender-Based Violence (GBV). Various sessions and activities are undertaken by different schools to spread awareness and intiate activism for ending gender based violence of any form.

Objectives of Event

• To Conduct workshops and seminars to raise awareness on the 'The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act 2013.
• Enhance awareness about the Sexual Harassment Electronic (SHe) Box portal ensuring that working women understand how to confidentially and confidently report incidents of sexual harassment at work place and get effective redressal. 
• Raise awareness on Emergency Response Support System Number (112) and Women Helpline (181) to facilitate quick access to emergency and non-emergency Services.
• Radio Talk to create awareness about  the Internal complaints committee and its grievance redressal machanism.
