Overview

Sharda School of Nursing Science & Research (SSNSR), Sharda University and Department of Anatomy, School of Medical Sciences and Research (SMSR) in collaboration, are organizing a one-day workshop titled “Anatomy and Physiology Nexus: Bridging Knowledge and Practice.”

The workshop aims to strengthen the integration of theoretical knowledge of anatomy and physiology with clinical and nursing applications. It provides a unique platform for B.Sc. Nursing students to gain hands-on exposure to anatomical models, specimens, and physiological demonstrations through inter-departmental collaboration.

This academic initiative will enhance conceptual clarity, promote interactive learning, and help nursing students correlate structural and functional aspects of the human body with nursing practice. Faculty from both Nursing and Anatomy departments will deliver interactive sessions, demonstrations, and live model-based discussions to bridge the gap between classroom theory and clinical application.

Objectives of Event

·         To strengthen the foundation of anatomy and physiology for better clinical application in nursing practice.(SDG 4: Quality Education)

·         To strengthen the understanding of structure and function correlation of the human body systems through interactive learning. (SDG 4: Quality Education)

·         To provide experiential exposure to students through guided visits to the Anatomy Museum, Histology Laboratory, and Dissection Hall, enhancing visualization of anatomical structures. (SDG 4: Quality Education)

·         To promote integration between theoretical concepts and practical observation, reinforcing foundational knowledge in anatomy and physiology.(SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being)

·          To develop students’ clinical reasoning and spatial understanding of organ systems relevant to nursing care. (SDG 4: Quality Education)
