Overview

Sharda School of Nursing Science and Research Faculty development program on awareness about the Sexual Harassment Electronic (SHe) Box portal among working women and Emergency Response Support System Number facilitate quick access to emergency and non-emergency Services.

The Ministry of Women and Child Development (WCD) has launched an online platform to enable women employees working in both the public and private organisations to file complaints related to sexual harassment at the workplace. The complaint management system has been developed to ensure the effective implementation of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act (the SH Act), 2013.

The portal is an effort to provide speedier remedy to women facing sexual harassment at workplace as envisaged under the SH Act.

Objectives of Event

  • Understand the purpose and importance of the Sexual Harassment Electronic (SHe) Box system in ensuring women’s workplace safety.
  • Identify situations in which the SHe Box portal can be used to register complaints of sexual harassment.
  • Create awareness about the Emergency Response Support System (ERSS – 112) as a single national helpline number for emergencies.
  • Empower working women to seek prompt help using technology-enabled support systems.
