Overview

Pro Bono Club, Sharda School of Law, Sharda University, is organising an Educational Visit to Knowledge Park Police Station, Greater Noida, with the aim of providing students with practical exposure to the functioning of the criminal justice system and fostering legal awareness through direct interaction with law enforcement authorities.

The programme will include an interactive session with police officials, a guided orientation on police procedures, registration of FIRs, cyber complaints, women and child safety mechanisms, and an overview of community policing initiatives. Students will also gain insights into the practical implementation of criminal laws and victim support systems.

Objectives of Event

  • To provide experiential learning regarding the structure and functioning of a Police Station.
  • To familiarize students with procedures such as filing of FIRs, complaint mechanisms, and investigation processes.
  • To create awareness about legal aid services, women and child helpline numbers (1091, 181, 112), and cybercrime reporting mechanisms.
  • To strengthen the understanding of criminal law in practice through direct interaction with police officials.
  • To promote community engagement and legal literacy under the Pro Bono Club outreach initiatives.
