Overview

In the context of evolving quality benchmarks in higher education, national and international ranking and accreditation frameworks increasingly emphasise demonstrable integration of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into curriculum design, research priorities, publications, and institutional values. Frameworks such as NAAC, NIRF, NBA, and global ranking systems require institutions to move beyond intent and documentation towards evidence-based, outcome-oriented implementation of sustainability practices.

In this backdrop, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), in collaboration with the SDG Cell, is organising a focused sensitisation workshop for SPOCs of Criterion 01, 03 and 07.

Objectives of Event

  • To sensitise Criterion 01, 03 and 07 SPOCs on SDG expectations across NAAC, NIRF, NBA, Times Higher Education Impact and QS Sustainability frameworks
  • To enable structured integration and mapping of SDGs within curriculum, research and publications
  • To strengthen institutional values, social responsibility initiatives and best practices aligned with global sustainability indicators
  • To integrate SDG into curriculum, research and publication,  co-curricular /extra-curricular/ extension/ outreach/ community connect activities
