Overview

The Department of Life Sciences (Food Science & Technology) at the Sharda School of Bio-Sciences & Technology, Sharda University, Greater Noida, is conducting a visit to Anmol industries Ltd. Udyog Vihar, Sarjapur, Greater Noida, U.P. The visit helps learners observe the entire process, from raw material selection, dough preparation, fermentation, and baking to cooling, slicing, and packaging of bakery products. Students gain exposure to various equipment, such as mixers, proofers, ovens, and conveyors, while understanding the role of ingredients, improvers, and additives in product quality. They also learn about essential quality control parameters that determine texture, colour, moisture, volume, and microbial safety.

Objectives of Event

The objective of the event:

·       To understand the implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Hygiene Practices (GHP), and food safety systems such as HACCP in bakery operations.

 

·       To gain insights into packaging materials, techniques, and storage conditions used for different bakery products.

 

·       To observe waste management practices and energy utilisation strategies followed in the bakery industry.

 

·       To bridge theoretical knowledge with real-time industrial processes for enhanced technical understanding.

 

·       To explore networking opportunities that may support future internships and job placements.
