About the Session:

The School of Pharmacy, Sharda University, will be organizing an insightful guest lecture on “Clinical Research as a Career: Role, Skills and Placement Opportunities.”
The session will aim to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the clinical research industry, highlighting future career prospects, essential skills, and placement opportunities. It will serve as a valuable platform for pharmacy students to explore the dynamic and expanding field of clinical research, helping them bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry expectations.

The lecture will also focus on developing the competencies required for success in clinical research and guiding students toward professional certifications that enhance employability.

Objectives of Event

  • To create awareness among pharmacy students about diverse career opportunities in the field of clinical research.
  • To provide insights into the roles, responsibilities, and skill requirements for professionals in the clinical research industry.
  • To bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations through expert interaction and discussion.
  • To highlight the importance of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and other professional certifications in career advancement.
  • To guide students on placement opportunities in pharmaceutical companies, CROs, and healthcare organizations.
  • To motivate students to develop essential soft and technical skills such as communication, documentation, and data management for success in clinical research.
