Overview

Sharda School of Humanities and Social Sciences is organizing ‘Sandhya Yog’ (evening Yoga classes) for all Shardans. It is a wellness initiative designed to promote holistic health and well-being of Shardans. These sessions will be conducted on a regular basis during the months of May, June, and July utilizing the academic break period effectively. The sessions are free of charge. Kindly bring your mats. Those who have challenge in sitting on floor/mat, they can do on chair.

Objectives of Event

1. To promote physical fitness and overall health among faculty members through regular yogic practices. 
2. To reduce stress, anxiety, and work-related fatigue by incorporating relaxation and meditation techniques. 
3. To improve flexibility, strength, and body posture through systematic practice of asanas and exercises. 
4. To enhance mental clarity, concentration, and emotional stability among participants. 
5. To encourage the adoption of a healthy and disciplined lifestyle through consistent yoga practice.
