Overview

The Department of Biotechnology, Department of Food Science & Technology and Department of Life Science, Sharda School of Bio-Science & Technology (SSBT) are organizing together in colaboration with Sharda Skills, a career counselling session on “From Campus to Corporate” on 2nd September 2026.

The session will orient newly admitted students to the transition from academic life to the professional world. It will provide insights into career pathways, industry expectations, essential skills, and emerging opportunities in Biotechnology Engineering, Food Science & Technology, and Life Sciences. The session aims to inspire students to plan their careers strategically and confidently prepare for future industry roles.

Objectives of Event

  • To familiarize students with career opportunities and professional pathways in Biotechnology Engineering, Food Science & Technology, and Life Sciences.
  • To bridge the gap between academia and industry by introducing students to current industry expectations, workplace practices, and emerging trends.
  • To develop career awareness among students and encourage them to identify their interests, strengths, and long-term professional goals.
  • To highlight the importance of employability skills, including communication, teamwork, problem-solving, leadership, and professional etiquette.
  • To motivate students to plan and prepare early for internships, higher education, placements, and diverse career opportunities in their respective fields.
