About the Event:

The Department of Optometry and the Department of Physiotherapy, Sharda School of Allied Health Sciences, are organizing a session titled “Fostering Gender Equality and Inclusiveness: Sensitization Session for Faculty Members” on 22-05-2026. The session aims to promote awareness and understanding of gender equality, inclusiveness, and respectful workplace practices among faculty members. It will focus on creating a supportive and equitable academic environment where every individual is treated with dignity, fairness, and respect irrespective of gender.

The programme will cover important aspects such as gender sensitivity, equal opportunities, prevention of discrimination, professional ethics, inclusive communication, and the role of educators in fostering a positive institutional culture.
