Overview
Deeksharambh – Orientation Program SSD 2026 is an induction and orientation programme organized by the Sharda School of Design, Sharda University under the theme “Yuva Shakti – Viksit Bharat”, As part of the orientation programme, the Alumni Connect Session will provide newly admitted first-year students with an opportunity to interact with alumni and gain insights into their academic journey, professional experiences, career pathways, and the opportunities available in the design industry. The interaction will help students understand the transition from design education to professional practice while encouraging them to actively engage with the School's academic and creative ecosystem.
Objectives of Event

The intended objectives are:
· To provide first-year students with direct interaction with alumni of the School of Design.
· To familiarize students with career opportunities and professional pathways in the design industry.
· To provide practical insights into the transition from design education to professional life.
· To motivate students through the academic and professional experiences of alumni.
· To help students understand industry expectations, professional skills, and workplace practices.
· To encourage students to build professional networks from the early stages of their academic journey.
· To strengthen alumni–institution engagement and create a continuous platform for knowledge sharing.
· To bridge the gap between classroom learning and professional practice.
