Overview
On World Photography Day, the Sharda School of Media, Film & Entertainment presents “Through Raghu Rai’s Lens: Photography with Purpose — Capturing Reality, Inspiring Change.” The special talk and workshop will explore photography as a medium of visual storytelling, social documentation and change, with insights into observation, composition, decisive moments, narrative and photographic ethics, followed by a practical exercise and photo critique.
Objectives of Event
- To understand photography as a medium of visual storytelling, documentation and social communication.
- To explore the photographic vision and approach of Raghu Rai, with emphasis on observation, composition and human-centred storytelling.
- To provide hands-on learning through a specialised talk, practical workshop and photo critique.
