Sharda School of Nursing Science is hosting an event on “Immunisation Services Covering Vaccine Doses for Children” scheduled for 22nd September 2025 at the Paediatric OPD, Sharda Hospital. The program will highlight the theme “Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan” – which means “Healthy Women, Empowered Families Campaign.” This campaign is being observed from 17th September to 2nd October 2025.It’s a public health awareness initiative theme that emphasizes the idea that when women are healthy, their families and communities become stronger, safer, and more empowered.To strengthen maternal and child health through immunisation services, health awareness, and community participation, ensuring every child receives timely vaccines and every woman receives essential health support.The campaign goes beyond service delivery it builds awareness, trust, and responsibility in families. A Swasth Nari (Healthy Woman) not only protects her own health but also creates a Sashakt Parivar (Empowered Family), and together they contribute to a healthier society and stronger nation.Thus, Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan integrates preventive health services, awareness campaigns, and community participation, making every mother a champion of her family’s health and every child a symbol of a safe and secure future.

Objectives of Event

· To ensure 100% immunisation coverage of children from birth to 5 years for the prevention of life-threatening diseases. (SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being)

· To raise awareness among parents and caregivers about the critical role of immunisation in safeguarding child health and development. (SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being; SDG 4: Quality Education)

· To reduce child morbidity and mortality rates through timely and complete vaccination. (SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being)

      . To promote community participation in achieving universal immunisation for children. (SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being; SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals)
