Overview

Sharda School of Law, Sharda University is organising INSPIRING YOUNG MINDS World Book Fair visit at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi on 13th January 2026 to commemorate National Youth Day celebrations.

The proposed visit to the World Book Fair aims to provide students with an enriching educational experience by immersing them in a vibrant environment of books, ideas, and knowledge exchange. The visit is designed to inspire young minds by exposing them to diverse literary works, renowned publishers, academic resources, and thought-provoking themes across disciplines. Coinciding with the spirit of National Youth Day, the visit seeks to motivate students towards intellectual growth, self-learning, and character building. Through interaction with books and literary spaces, the programme encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love for reading, thereby contributing to the holistic development of youth.

Objectives of Event

  • To inculcate a culture of reading among youth by exposing them to a wide range of books, authors, publishers, and literary genres at the World Book Fair.
  • To inspire young minds through the ideals of National Youth Day, encouraging self-development, discipline, and nation-building in the spirit of Swami Vivekananda’s teachings.
  • To enhance intellectual and academic curiosity by enabling students to engage with contemporary literature, academic publications, and global perspectives.
  • To promote awareness about knowledge resources and publishing trends, including digital publishing, multilingual literature, and emerging fields of study.
  • To encourage holistic youth development by fostering critical thinking, creativity, informed dialogue, and lifelong learning through interaction with authors and literary platforms
