Overview

On the occasion of National IAOMR Day 2025, the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology, School of Dental Sciences, in collaboration with Department of Nuclear Medicine & Molecular PET Imaging , School of Medical Sciences & Research center, Sharda University, Greater Noida will be conducting a workshop on Advancement of Nuclear Medicine including Gamma Camera & PET Scan for Head & Neck Oral Cancer  at Sharda university in Greater Noida on 24-04-2025 regarding the early screening, diagnosis, and treatment of oral cancer.

Objectives of Event

• This event aims to provide dental professionals, including faculty members, postgraduates and BDS Interns, with a deep understanding of the role of Nuclear Medicine in the diagnosis, staging, and treatment of head & neck and oral cancers.
• Participants will gain insights into the latest Nuclear Medicine imaging technologies, case-based learning, and hands-on experience with real-life patient demonstration.
• The goal is to enhance clinical knowledge and skills, helping participants better understand how Nuclear Medicine supports health care in head & neck and Oral Oncology.
