Sharda School of Media, Film and Entertainment, Sharda University is organizing SSMFE Orientation – Deeksharambha 2026 under the theme “Yuva Shakti –Viksit Bharat 2047” from 24th to 27th August 2026.

About:

The orientation programme is designed to provide students with a smooth and engaging transition into university and media education. The programme will introduce students to the academic framework, university facilities, mentoring, student support systems, career opportunities, professional development and co-curricular activities available at Sharda School of Media, Film and Entertainment. Through interactive, academic, cultural and skill-development sessions, students will be encouraged to actively participate in university life and begin their journey as media students with confidence.

Objectives of Event

  • To familiarise students with the academic structure, rules, assessment and examination system.
  • To introduce students to faculty members, mentors, university facilities and student support services.
  • To create awareness regarding Anti-Ragging, POSH, Gender Sensitization, Cyber Security and Grievance Redressal.
  • To provide guidance on internships, career counselling, skill development and professional opportunities.
  • To encourage teamwork, leadership, social responsibility and holistic development.
  • To familiarise students with NCC, NSS, sports, cultural activities and departmental clubs.
  • To inspire students to contribute towards the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
