Overview

World Oral Health Day is celebrated annually on March 20th to raise global awareness about the prevention of oral diseases and the importance of oral hygiene. To celebrate World Oral health day the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and Oral Microbiology in collaboration with School of Media, Film & Entertainment , Sharda University is organizing a Radio Talk-show for Oral health promotion among urban and rural population of Greater Noida including students and employees of Sharda University on 7th April 2026.

Objectives of Event

  1. To raise awareness about the prevention of oral diseases and the importance of oral hygiene
  2. To intervene and diagnose early which is key to successful treatment outcomes.
  3. To spread awareness about oral potentially malignant disorders and early signs and symptoms of oral cancer and to promote education and preventive care to reduce this burden.
