Overview

The “Interactive Session on Sustainable Practices in Architecture and Interior Design” was organized to create awareness and deepen understanding of environmentally responsible design approaches in contemporary built environments. The session brought together industry experts, architects, and interior designers who shared practical insights into sustainable materials, climate-responsive architecture, green building strategies, adaptive reuse, and resource-efficient interior solutions. The discussion focused on integrating ecological sensitivity with functional and aesthetic design, highlighting real-world case studies, innovative materials, passive design strategies, and sustainable construction techniques.

Objectives of Event

THE INTENDED OBJECTIVE IS TO :

● Enhance understanding of sustainable design principles in architecture and interior design.

● Develop awareness of eco-friendly materials, green building techniques, and energy-efficient planning strategies.

● Encourage critical thinking about environmental impact, resource optimization, and lifecycle considerations in design projects.

● Bridge theoretical knowledge of sustainability with real-world professional practices and case studies.

● Inspire students to integrate climate-responsive, culturally sensitive, and environmentally responsible approaches in their future design work.
