Overview

Sharda University is providing Sports Scholarships to outstanding sports students to motivate the sports person to achieve higher levels of performance to assist them financially in relation to education and in sports development.

 

Benefits under this scheme may be available to those who secured medals or participated in national university games (A.I.U), State, National and International competitions recognized by Olympic association of India.

 

To avail the Scholarship student should clear all the papers and a Minimum 6.5 CGPA with a sports certificate is required.

Objectives of Event

·  Encourage sporting excellence by motivating outstanding sportspersons to achieve higher levels of performance at State, National, and International platforms.

·  Provide financial assistance to talented sports students to support their educational expenses and sports-related development.

·  Recognize and reward merit of students who have secured medals or represented their institutions in National University Games (A.I.U.), State, National, and International competitions.

·  Promote balanced academic and athletic growth by enabling students to pursue higher education alongside competitive sports.

·  Enhance the university’s sporting culture by attracting high-performing athletes and strengthening participation in recognized competitions.

·  Support sports recognized by national and international bodies, including those approved by the Olympic Association of India.

·  Develop future champions and leaders in sports by creating opportunities for continuous training, exposure, and competitive experience.
