Overview

Breast cancer remains one of the most common health concerns among women, making awareness and early detection essential for saving lives. To support this cause, ShardaCare HealthCity, in association with Sharda School of Humanities & Social Sciences, is organizing a Breast Cancer Awareness Program aimed at educating women about breast health and the importance of regular screening. The initiative introduces Advanced Thermal Screening technology—an innovative, touch-free, pain-free, and radiation-free method that detects early breast tissue changes through thermal imaging. This safe and comfortable screening is suitable for women of all age groups, including younger women who may not be advised to undergo mammography.

The program highlights key risk factors, early warning signs, and the significant role early detection plays in improving treatment outcomes. With symptoms such as lumps, changes in breast size, dimpling of the skin, or unusual nipple discharge often going unnoticed, the event encourages women to stay alert and seek timely medical advice. An expert session led by Dr. Anindya Mukherjee, Senior Consultant in Medical Oncology, will further guide participants on breast health and dispel common misconceptions. Through this initiative, ShardaCare aims to empower women to take proactive steps towards their well-being and embrace preventive healthcare with confidence.
