The Department of Mathematics and Data Science, SSES, is organizing a Seminar Skills Seminar on “Resume Writing & Interviews for Personal Development & Soft Skills” on 20th February 2026 (Friday), from 3:00 PM onwards. The session aims to help students recognize the importance of effective resume writing, profile update on social media and essential soft skills in career development. It will provide practical guidance on preparing impactful resumes, understanding various resume formats, and building confidence for interviews. This initiative is designed to enhance students’ employability and support their overall professional growth.

The objectives of this initiative are:

To educate students on the importance of a well-structured Curriculum Vitae (CV) for professional and academic advancement.

To provide insights into formatting, language, and presentation techniques for creating an impactful CV.

To guide participants in effectively highlighting key achievements, internships, and skills.

To help students understand the difference between a CV and a résumé and their relevance in various career fields.

To enhance students’ confidence and preparedness for future placements and higher education opportunities.
