Penning the Future: Essay Competition on NEP 2020 aims to engage students in a thoughtful exploration of India’s transformative education reform. Participants are invited to express their insights, critique, and ideas on various aspects of the policy and its implications for the future of education in India keeping the NEP 2020 in mind.

Important Dates:

Last date for Registration: 12th May, 2025

Presentation of the essay in Online Mode: 13th, May 2025

Announcement of the Results: 14th May, 2025

 

Basic Rules:

  1. The essay must be original and written by the participant. Plagiarism above 10% will lead to disqualification.
  2. Word limit: 800-1000 words.
  3. Essays can be written in English or Hindi.
  4. Each participant may submit only one entry and in case of a team- maximum 2 students are allowed.
  5. Entries must be submitted in Word format (Times New Roman, 12pt, spacing .1.5 lines) by the announced deadline at

  1. On the online presentation day ie,14th May 2025, the participants can orally explain their essays or create a ppt of maximum 6 slides (optional)f or presentation.
  2. The essay should include the participant’s name, institution, and contact details and the sub theme under which the essay is written on the cover page.
  3. Citations (if any) must be properly credited.
  4. The prizes will be decided on written cum oral presentation.
  5. All participants will receive participation certificates.

  2. To encourage critical thinking and analytical writing on education policy reforms.
  3. To foster awareness and discussion on how NEP 2020 impacts different stakeholders.
  4. To provide a platform for students to voice innovative ideas for improving the Indian education system.
