Department of Psychiatry, School of Medical Sciences and Research, Sharda Hospital, Sharda University organizing an event on "World no tobacco day" on 31st May 2025.
There will be 1 day Event for World No Tobacco Day it is observed globally on May 31 to highlight the health risks associated with tobacco use and to advocate for effective measures to reduce tobacco consumption. "Unmasking the Appeal" aims to reveal deceptive marketing tactics used by the tobacco and nicotine industry, particularly targeting youth This event will educate attendees on industry manipulation, promote awareness of health risks, and empower communities to advocate for stronger regulations and informed choices to combat tobacco and nicotine use.
Objectives of Event
- To educate the Public on tobacco cessation & to advocate for effective measure to reduce tobacco consumption.
