Overview

Department of Community Medicine, Sharda School of Medical Sciences and Research, Sharda Hospital, Sharda University is organizing a “Quiz Competition on the occasion of World Health Day 2026”, the competition will be conducted in two rounds: -Elimination round on 18^th March 2026, and the Main quiz competition on 25^th March 2026. The theme of this year’s World Health Day 2026 is “Together for Health. Stand with Science”.

The Quiz competition is for MBBS students of the 2022, 2024 & 2025 batch as a part of the activities included in the National Annual Undergraduate IAPSM World Health Day Quiz 2026 under the aegis of the Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine (IAPSM) with support of IAPSM-UP State Chapter.

Objectives of Event

• To Sensitize MBBS student to the theme for the World Health Day 2026 “Together for Health. Stand with Science” and strengthen awareness of public health issues.
• To Assess students’ understanding of national and global health initiatives, particularly regarding Universal Health Coverage (UHC), the SDG3 goals, and the specific theme of the current World Health Day.
