The NCC Wing, Office of the Dean Students' Welfare, Sharda University organizing an Drive for HLA Matching Camp & Stem Cell Donor Registry organised by Sharda Care Hospital, Greater Noida
Objectives of Event
The primary objective of this initiative is to create awareness among students about the importance of stem cell donation and encourage voluntary registration in the Stem Cell Donor Registry. The drive aims to identify potential stem cell donors through HLA (Human Leukocyte Antigen) Matching, which plays a vital role in providing life-saving treatment for patients suffering from blood cancers, thalassemia, aplastic anemia, leukemia, lymphoma, and other life-threatening blood disorders.
By participating in this humanitarian initiative, students can become part of a national registry and potentially help save the life of a patient in need of a stem cell transplant.
