Overview

In celebration of World Orthodontic Health Day, the Department of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics is organizing a Clear Aligners Awareness Session aimed at educating students about modern orthodontic treatment modalities and digital smile correction techniques.

The session will feature an informative lecture by Dr. Chhavi Grover on the fundamentals, advantages, indications, and clinical applications of clear aligner therapy in contemporary orthodontics. The program is designed to create awareness regarding esthetic orthodontic treatment options and advancements in digital orthodontics.

Following the lecture, participants will be offered a free intraoral scan and preliminary aligner treatment planning session, along with exclusive student offers on clear aligner therapy. The event will provide students with an opportunity to experience digital orthodontic workflow firsthand and interact directly with orthodontic specialists.

Objectives of Event

• To create awareness among students regarding clear aligner therapy and modern orthodontic treatment options.
• To educate participants about the indications, benefits, limitations, and clinical applications of clear aligners.
• To introduce students to digital orthodontics, including intraoral scanning and virtual treatment planning.
• To encourage early orthodontic evaluation and promote awareness about oral health and smile aesthetics.
• To provide hands-on exposure to aligner-based treatment planning through free scanning sessions.
• To commemorate World Orthodontic Health Day by promoting preventive and esthetic orthodontic care among young adults.
