Dear All,
The Department of EECE, Sharda School of Engineering and Science, is organising Faculty Training Program on “Speedgoat-Based Real-Time Simulation” on 21st May 2026 at 316, Block 1, Sharda University. This programme aims to provide faculty members with exposure to advanced real-time control and testing technologies used in academia, research laboratories, and industry. The program aims to familiarize participants with the Speedgoat real-time target hardware platform and its seamless integration with MATLAB and Simulink for developing, testing, and validating complex engineering systems. The training will include demonstrations on real-time simulation, controller implementation, rapid control prototyping, and Hardware-in-the-Loop testing methodologies
Objectives of Event
- To provide faculty members with fundamental and advanced knowledge of real-time simulation and testing techniques.
- To familiarize participants with the Speedgoat real-time target hardware platform and its applications in engineering education and research.
- To demonstrate the integration of MATLAB and Simulink with real-time hardware for control system development and validation.
- To introduce the concepts of Rapid Control Prototyping (RCP) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing for modern engineering systems.
- To enable participants to explore industry-oriented methodologies for testing, verification, and implementation of control algorithms.
- To bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical industrial applications through live demonstrations and hands-on exposure.
- To encourage the adoption of advanced real-time simulation tools in teaching, research, consultancy, and interdisciplinary projects
