Sharda School of Nursing Science and Research is organising a one day Seminar on “E-OSCE – Digital Innovation and Skill Seminar”. The seminar aims to enrich the knowledge and clinical proficiency of nursing students and professionals by introducing the concept of Electronic Objective Structured Clinical Examination (EOSCE) an advanced tool for evaluating clinical competence in a structured and evidence-based manner.

 

The seminar will focused on innovation of eOSCE in modern nursing education and assessment of clinical competencies.

Objectives of Event

To strengthen the quality of nursing education through digital skill-based assessments (SDG 4 – Quality Education)

To promote patient safety and improved healthcare services by enhancing clinical decision-making and procedural skills among nursing learners. (SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-being).

To encourage innovation and adoption of digital technologies in health education, integrate simulation and electronic platforms in clinical training. (SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure).

To ensure equal and inclusive learning opportunities by standardizing assessment methods, reducing subjectivity, and allowing fair evaluation for all students. (SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities).

To build institutional capacity for sustainable health education frameworks, enabling long-term implementation of validated electronic assessment tools. (SDG 4 – Education for Sustainable Development)

To empower educators through professional development and digital readiness, enhancing teaching and evaluation competencies for a future-ready workforce. (SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth).

To foster collaborative learning, evidence-based practice, and continuous improvement in clinical training, supporting global standards of healthcare excellence and advancing. (SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals).
