Objectives of Event

  • To introduce students to the systematic study of spatial patterns and processes that have influenced the human understanding, utilization, and transformation of the Earth's surface.
  • To examine the key drivers of spatial change such as migration, cultural diffusion, political developments, and agro-economic transitions in shaping human-environment interactions.
  • To develop an understanding of Earth as an evolving system through the lens of human activities and their geographical implications over time.
