Overview
Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry, Sharda School of Engineering & Science is organising an event on research methodology from 6th August to 17th September 2026.
The Research Methodology Seminar Series is a structured academic initiative designed to strengthen the research capabilities of postgraduate students in Chemistry and Biochemistry. The seminar series aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of scientific research, covering topics from research planning and experimental design to data analysis, scientific writing, ethics, and publication.
Objectives of Event
- To develop a strong foundation in research methodology among postgraduate students in Chemistry and Biochemistry.
- To familiarise participants with the process of formulating research questions, hypotheses, and experimental designs.
- To enhance understanding of literature review techniques, research ethics, plagiarism prevention, and responsible conduct of research.
- To improve skills in data interpretation, scientific writing, manuscript preparation, and publication in peer-reviewed journals.
