The Sharda School of Media, Film & Entertainment (SSMFE), Sharda University is pleased to announce an engaging and skill-oriented session titled:

ACTING UNPLUGGED: An Interactive Theatre & Screen Workshop

This special workshop is designed to provide students with hands-on exposure to the craft of acting across theatre and screen mediums. The session will focus on performance techniques, character building, expression, and the transition between stage and camera acting. Students will gain valuable insights into the nuances of acting, including body language, emotional depth, improvisation, and on-screen presence.

The workshop aims to bridge theoretical learning with practical industry experience, enabling students to understand the real demands of acting in contemporary media platforms such as films and OTT

Objectives of Event

The key objectives of the session are to:

  • Introduce students to the fundamentals of acting for theatre and screen.
  • Provide practical exposure to performance techniques and character development.
  • Help students understand the differences between stage acting and on-screen acting.
  • Enhance confidence, expression, and communication skills through interactive learning.

  • Inspire students to explore career opportunities in acting and performance arts.
