Sharda School of Nursing Science and Research is organising"Nursing Research and Research Methodology" forthe PhD. Scholar, M.Sc. Nursing and B.Sc. Nursing students on 10th &11th November 2025.

The Department of Nursing Sciences is organising a workshop titled "Nursing Research and Research Methodology" to help students and scholars enhance their abilities in conducting research. The programme aims to provide participants with a strong foundation in selecting a research problem, research methodology, systematic reviews, data collection methods, and SPSS.
The programme's goal is to provide participants with the knowledge they need to conduct excellent research while upholding academic integrity and ethical standards through interactive workshops. This session will help participants build the competence and confidence required for future academic and professional research endeavours by focusing on the fundamentals of scholarly inquiry and proposal.

Objectives of Event

·     To develop the ability to identify and select appropriate research problems in the field of nursing (SDG 4).

·     To enhance understanding of research methodology and its application in nursing research (SDG 4).

·     To build knowledge and skills for conducting systematic reviews and synthesizing research evidence (SDG 4).

·     To train participants in various data collection methods for qualitative and quantitative studies (SDG 4).

·     To offer practical exposure to SPSS software for data entry, statistical analysis, and interpretation(SDG 4).

·     To ensure good quality of education and enhance learning opportunities for nursing students (SDG 4).
