Sharda School of Media, Film & Entertainment is proudly organising vibrant
Independence Day celebrations, bringing together students, faculty, and staff to honour
the spirit of freedom. The event will feature flag hoisting, cultural performances,
patriotic songs, and thought-provoking short films created by our talented students. It
aims to pay tribute to the sacrifices of our freedom fighters while inspiring a sense of
unity, pride, and responsibility among all attendees. Through art, music, and storytelling,
the celebration will reflect the rich heritage of India and the enduring values of liberty
and democracy.
Objectives of Event
Objectives of the Independence Day Celebrations
1. Honour the Nation’s Heritage – To pay tribute to India’s freedom fighters and
acknowledge their sacrifices.
2. Foster Patriotism – To inspire pride, unity, and responsibility among students,
faculty, and staff.
3. Promote Cultural Expression – To showcase India’s rich traditions through
music, dance, art, and film.
4. Encourage Creative Storytelling – To provide a platform for students to convey
patriotic themes through short films and performances.
5. Strengthen Community Bonding – To bring together the Sharda School
community in a shared celebration of freedom and democracy.
