Overview

The Sharda School of Bio-Science & Technology (SSBT), Sharda University, through its Department of Biotechnology, Department of Food Science & Technology and Department of Life Science, is organizing an Alumni Interaction session on 2nd September 2026.

This session will provide newly admitted students with an opportunity to connect with graduates and gain insights from their academic and professional experiences. Alumni will share their journey from campus to the workplace, including experiences related to higher education, internships, placements, entrepreneurship, and career development. The session will help students understand the diverse career pathways available in Biotechnology Engineering, Food Science & Technology, and Life Sciences. It will also encourage meaningful interaction, networking, and mentorship between students and alumni.

Objectives of Event

  • To provide students with real-world insights into academic, professional, and career journeys in Biotechnology Engineering, Food Science & Technology, and Life Sciences.
  • To familiarize students with diverse career pathways, including higher education, research, industry, entrepreneurship, and competitive examinations.
  • To help students understand industry expectations and the importance of developing technical, professional, and interpersonal skills during their academic journey.
  • To motivate students through alumni experiences by sharing practical lessons, challenges, achievements, and strategies for career growth.
  • To facilitate networking and mentorship opportunities between newly admitted students and alumni for continued guidance and professional development.
