Overview

The event, “New Product Launch – The Latest Trend in Treating OSMF Patients,” is designed to introduce dental professionals to the latest advancements and innovative approaches in the management of OSMF. The programme will provide an academic and clinical platform to understand the role of newly introduced therapeutic products and contemporary treatment modalities aimed at improving patient comfort, functional outcomes and overall management of OSMF.

The event will include an expert-led discussion on the current concepts of OSMF management, the scientific rationale and clinical application of the newly launched product, its indications, usage protocol, advantages and its potential role as part of a comprehensive treatment approach. Emphasis will also be placed on early diagnosis, appropriate patient selection, habit cessation counselling, follow-up and long-term monitoring.

This program is aiming to enhance the knowledge and clinical awareness of dental professionals regarding the latest therapeutic trends and innovative products available for the management of Oral Submucous Fibrosis, thereby promoting evidence-based, comprehensive and patient-centred care.

Objectives of Event

Objectives

  1. To update participants on the current concepts, challenges and evolving trends in the diagnosis and management of Oral Submucous Fibrosis.
  2. To introduce the newly launched product and provide an understanding of its composition, mechanism of action, indications and clinical applications in OSMF management.
  3. To familiarize participants with the clinical protocol for appropriate use of the product, including patient selection, method of administration and follow-up considerations.
  4. To discuss the role of innovative therapeutic approaches in improving symptoms such as burning sensation, restricted mouth opening and reduced oral mucosal flexibility.
  5. To emphasize the importance of early diagnosis and timely intervention in preventing disease progression and improving the quality of life of OSMF patients.
  6. To reinforce the role of habit cessation counselling and elimination of etiological factors as an essential component of comprehensive OSMF management.
  7. To promote evidence-based clinical decision-making by discussing the benefits, limitations and appropriate integration of newer treatment modalities into routine dental practice.
  8. To encourage comprehensive monitoring and follow-up of OSMF patients, including surveillance for disease progression and potential malignant transformation.
