About the Event:

 

Sharda School of Allied Health Sciences, Department of Optometry, is organizing a comprehensive two-day workshop on "Exploring Binocular Vision & Scleral Contact Lenses" on March 28th and 29th, 2025. This hands-on training aims to enhance participants' understanding of binocular vision assessment techniques and the fitting and application of scleral contact lenses in clinical practice. Led by expert practitioners, the workshop will provide in-depth knowledge, practical demonstrations, and interactive sessions, ensuring an enriching learning experience for optometry students and professionals.

  2. Plus, and Minus Lenses
  3. RAF Ruler
  4. Brock String
  5. Maddox Rod 
  6. Maddox Wing
  7. Scleral Contact lenses
  8. Slit Lamp

Objectives of Event

  1. To provide hands-on training in binocular vision assessment and scleral contact lens fitting.
  2. To enhance understanding of binocular vision anomalies, diagnosis, and management.
  3. To train participants in advanced diagnostic techniques for binocular vision and scleral lens fitting. 
  4. To bridge theoretical knowledge with clinical practice through live demonstrations and case discussions.
  5. To foster professional development by encouraging knowledge exchange and networking.
