Overview

The NSS Cell at Sharda University, DSW, is going to register 300 NSS Volunteers on the MY BHARAT PORTAL (through the U.P. Government). Many students from Sharda University have shown enthusiasm to join the NSS Cell, and we are excited to welcome new volunteers too.

Google Form is attached with this Whats Happening for all students of Sharda University for registration.

Please note that even students who have been actively involved in NSS in the past must fill out the form again

Objectives of Event

Development of Social Responsibility: Encouraging students to participate in community service, allowing them to recognize their social obligations and contribute meaningfully to society.

  • Promotion of National Integration: Engaging students in activities that promote unity, harmony, and understanding among diverse communities across the nation.
  • Empowerment Through Volunteering: NSS enables students to develop leadership, organizational, and communication skills through active participation in social service activities.
  • Fostering Personal Growth: Helping students to grow as individuals by cultivating empathy, discipline, and a sense of responsibility towards the welfare of the society.
  • Improvement of Living Conditions in Rural Areas: A significant focus is on working towards improving the living conditions of people in rural and underdeveloped areas, including projects related to health, education, environment, and sanitation.
  • Providing Practical Exposure to Real-World Issues: Students are exposed to social challenges and are provided with hands-on experiences to find sustainable solutions.
  • Instilling a Sense of Civic Duty: NSS aims to instill a sense of civic responsibility in students, making them aware of the social, cultural, and environmental issues facing the nation.

Important Note:

There are only 300 seats available for NSS Volunteers from Sharda University. Ensure you complete the registration at the earliest to secure your spot.
