Overview

The Department of Civil Engineering, SSES, is organizing an expert lecture for its UG final year students on August 28th 2025. This expert lecture will provide a clear understanding of the five-day SSB procedure, explain the importance of Officer-Like Qualities (OLQs), offer practical guidance for psychological tests, group tasks, and personal interviews, and inspire students to pursue a prestigious career in the Indian Army, Navy, or Air Force.

Objectives of Event

The objectives of the event are:

  • To educate and guide undergraduate college students on the comprehensive selection process conducted by the Services Selection Board (SSB) for officer-level entries into the Indian Armed Forces.
  • To provide a clear understanding of the five-day SSB procedure, explain the importance of Officer-Like Qualities (OLQs), offer practical guidance for psychological tests, group tasks, and personal interviews, and inspire students to pursue a prestigious career in the Indian Army, Navy, or Air Force.
