School of Medical Sciences & Research, Sharda University is pleased to announce an Invited Lecture titled "Obesity & Metabolic Syndrome: Implications for Future Physicians.” scheduled on 22nd December 2025.

Dr. Mekhala Chandra, is an accomplished physician with expertise in Obesity Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Longevity Medicine and currently is Medical Founder and Head – TATA 1mg Weightwise. She has extensive clinical experience specializing in evidence-based weight management and metabolic health.

Objectives of Event

  • To address the increasing prevalence of Obesity and metabolic syndrome, with emphasis on their pathophysiology, prevention, and management strategies
  • To enhance understanding of the impact of obesity on individual and community health
