Department of Community Medicine, Sharda School of Medical Sciences and Research, Sharda Hospital, Sharda University is observing “World Malaria Day” on 20th April (UHTC) & 22nd April 2026 (RHTC). The theme of World Malaria Day 2026 is “Driven to End Malaria, Now We Can. Now We Must”.
Objectives of Event
( Aligned with SDG3 – Good Health & Well Being)
- “Now We Can”: Reflects the existence of new tools, technologies, and innovative strategies to eliminate malaria.
- “Now We Must”: Highlights the urgency to act now to save lives and prevent the spread of antimalarial drug resistance.
- “Focus”: Continued, Accelerated investment and Collective action to reach the most vulnerable communities.
