Overview

VACs are relevant academic method in order to fill the gaps in students knowledge and add competitive

edge to their job prospects. A well defined of offspring VACs in the courses makes them extremely useful

for improving employability quotient of students by building a range of competencies.

Objectives of Event

1. To equip university students with foundational proficiency in the German language at the A1 level of the Common

European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

2. To enable learners to comprehend and use familiar everyday expressions, basic phrases and elementary

grammar structures.

3. To develop oral and written communication skills required to introduce oneself, ask and answer simple questions,

and interact in routine social, academic and professional situations.

4. To familiarize students with German-speaking cultures (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and vocabulary related to

daily life, travel, food, work and family.
