Overview

This is to inform that Sharda School of Law is organizing Annual Function: Family Dispute Resolution Clinic on 18th September 2026 for which more than 350 Students are expected to be a part of it. It is in collaboration with Uttar Pradesh Commissionerate at Sharda University, at, Block-7, Sharda University, Greater Noida (U.P.).

About the Annual Programme – Family Dispute Resolution Clinic (FDRC)

The Annual Programme of the Family Dispute Resolution Clinic (FDRC) at Sharda School of Law, Sharda University, is organised to commemorate and strengthen the Clinic’s commitment towards family welfare, accessible justice, counselling, mediation, and peaceful resolution of family disputes.

The FDRC is a joint initiative of Sharda University and the Gautam Buddh Nagar Police Commissionerate, established to provide a supportive platform where families facing disputes can seek guidance, counselling, and appropriate dispute-resolution mechanisms. The Annual Programme brings together legal professionals, police officials, counsellors, academicians, and other stakeholders to reflect upon the Clinic’s journey, recognise valuable contributions, and reinforce the collective commitment towards resolution through dialogue and reconciliation.

Objectives of Event

➢    To highlight the journey, achievements, and impact of the Family Dispute Resolution Clinic.

➢    To promote dialogue, counselling, reconciliation, and peaceful resolution of family disputes.

➢    To strengthen collaboration between Sharda University, Police authorities, legal professionals, and community stakeholders.

➢    To acknowledge and felicitate the dedicated counsellors and professionals contributing to the functioning of the FDRC.

➢    To create greater awareness about accessible and effective mechanisms for family dispute resolution.

➢  To reaffirm the commitment towards family welfare, restorative justice, and community-based dispute resolution
